First Dream of Falling Man is one of Scott Eagle's latest paintings. It's disturbing, somewhat confrontational, and I love it. I also love the fact that Eagle is continually changing his style and his approach to his art. He is in a constantly changing dialogue with the world. Check out the rest of his site. I write fiction. My latest novel, Shriek: An Afterword, is now out in the US, published by Tor. I'm currently co-editing a series of anthologies with my wife, Ann, who is also the fiction editor of Weird Tales. We have three cats, all of whom have eccentric personalities. Soon, I will be moving to WordPress and my happiness will be complete.

The cover for "Saints and Madmen" was what made me buy the book. I knew little of your work, but the cover seemed outre enough to warrant purchase. It's kind of indicative of your own work, Jeff, precarously straddling between two genre-worlds...
