TAMAR WINS $100,000 JEWISH BOOK COUNCIL AWARD!

Our very good friend Tamar Yellin has won the first $100,000 Jewish Book Council Award for her first novel!!!!!! Congrats, Tamar!!!!! Such amazing news!

Jeezuzkraist on a stick, 100 000 credits is quite a large sum of money in most western currencies, even $'s. Congrats from a non-reader (who evidently needs to enlighten himself), too.

I can't think of a more deserving person for it to happen to, really.

I still remember listening to her read from it at Robin Hood's Bay and thinking: "this is something special".

And it turns out we weren't going to be the only ones who thought so!
